Kenneth founded Greenfield Global (previously Commercial Alcohols) in 1989. He served as the company’s President & CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Under his leadership, the company has grown into the largest manufacturer and distributor of fuel ethanol, industrial alcohol, and alcohol-related products in Canada. Before building Greenfield, he was elected as the youngest Director of United Trust at age 27. He went on to become President and CEO of Bramalea Ltd. and led the company through a remarkable growth phase in the 1970s and 1980s. In 2001, Ernst & Young recognized Kenneth as “Entrepreneur of the Year.”

Kenneth graduated from the University of Toronto and York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School.

Howard joined Greenfield in 2014 as the President and CEO, taking responsibility for the overall strategic planning and management for all Greenfield operations. Before joining Greenfield, he lived in Silicon Valley for 16 years. There, he co-founded and led technology companies including photo merchandise e-commerce companies Picaboo and Picaboo Yearbooks, and bamboo.com, which went public on NASDAQ in 1999 and subsequently merged with Internet Pictures Corporation or “iPIX” in 2000.

Howard graduated magna cum laude from Babson College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

Gary has more than 35 years of experience in sales and marketing for alcohol and its co-products.  His background includes seven years with Miracle Feeds (a division of Labatt Brewing Company) as the Canadian General Sales Manager overseeing the sales and marketing of brewery co-products.

Gary joined Greenfield in 1989 as Vice President and General Manager and most recently held the role of Senior Vice President, Global Sales. At Greenfield, Gary’s role has evolved to keep pace with his drive and ingenuity, including leading roles in production, purchasing, corn risk management, and five years as President of Pharmco-AAPER. Gary currently manages the Beverage and Distilled Spirits business unit, overseeing beverage alcohol sales across all Greenfield locations as well as marketing distillers’ grains and carbon dioxide – both valuable co-products of ethanol production. He is also responsible for leading the development of Greenfield’s international marketing strategy.

Gary received a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Guelph.

Jean oversees all of Greenfield’s renewable energy projects, from the development of technology to playing a leading role in building government policies for a more sustainable future. Jean was previously Project Development Manager, General Manager of Greenfield’s Varennes facility, and Vice President of Renewable Energy Strategies.

Jean’s distinguished career is build on solid experience in development, design, implementation and operation of complex industrial projects. Before joining ­Greenfield, he was a project engineer with Hydro-Québec, Vice President of Engineering for a major Quebec-based consulting firm and headed his own consulting group from 1992 to 1997.

Jean graduated with high honours from The Polytechnique Montréal with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in electrical engineering.

Frank is head of Greenfield’s Specialty Chemicals and Ingredients business unit. He joined Greenfield as a Controller in 2006, and later took on the role of Vice President of Business Development for US Operations.

Frank is responsible for Greenfield’s production and packaging of premium industrial alcohols and solvents that are the leading choice for industry, manufacturing, cosmetics, food and beverage flavouring, as well as for life sciences and pharmaceuticals. Frank also oversees strategic development and global distribution of Greenfield’s established Pharmco brand.

Prior to joining Greenfield, Frank held finance roles in leading multinational companies such as IBM and GE Capital.

Frank graduated at the top of his class with an MBA from Columbia Business School and graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in accounting from Brigham Young University.

Malcolm has been with Greenfield since its formative years, joining a small team in 1991. As EVP Greenfield Global & CFO Greenfield Global Quebec, Malcolm is responsible for all financing initiatives associated with Greenfield’s major capital expansions and all aspects of corporate finance including banking, treasury, risk management, and investor relations.

Malcolm has more than 35 years’ experience as a senior financial executive. His background includes ten years in public accounting practice with a predecessor firm of KPMG, and four years at a Canadian real estate development company, where he served as Vice President and Treasurer. He also helped pioneer many of Canada’s most successful government policies and programs for biofuels, serving as Past President and Director of the Canadian Renewable Fuels Association, now Renewable Industries Canada.

Malcolm is a graduate of the Queen’s School of Business (B.Comm Honours) and is a Chartered Accountant.

Steve brings more than 25 years of experience driving growth and success in the agricultural, commodities, specialty foods, and beverage sectors. Prior to joining Greenfield Global, he held executive positions at global companies such as Maple Leaf Foods and Canada Bread Company Limited, and most recently served as CFO for Andrew Peller Limited and Mastronardi Produce Ltd.

Steve holds an MBA in Finance from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Guelph; further complementing his industry knowledge and expertise.
